Boulies Elite

I upgraded and finally invested in a better office chair and this one has helped tremendously. Have had this ergonomic chair for about 4 weeks now and wanted to wait a bit before putting up a review. I game and work from home 2 days a week and I can sit in this for hours and my back will survive. The back support is no joke. I normally like the support on my back while I'm sitting up and working then when I am gaming I can adjust it to recline when I am relaxing. Great support either way. It was easy to assemble. Highly recommend this chair. The chair is quite comfortable, sturdy and so far, stable. Very satisfied with the product.

I'm a big guy, 6' 4" and was looking for a large chair to support me. Purchased the Boulies Elite Max after reading all the positive reviews. Chair does seem solid in most areas although a lot of the support seems to be on the right side of the chair where the reclining mechanism is located. There is movement on the left hand side when sitting back or reclining. It's OK at the moment but not confident that it will last much longer that other cheaper chairs. This has been the main issue I have had with cheaper gaming chairs. Time will tell.
My actual main grip is that after just one week the chair is very noisy. Not what I would expect from a chair of this price. Already annoying my partner. Gone through all the usual checks for ensuring bolts are tights as know they can work loose but makes no different to noise from chair.
Nothing I can do about the noise so will just see how long it the chair itself lasts but I think next time I will not try and cheap out on quality and go for a known named brand (not naming any names). Attached short video to give a sample of the noise on this chair when simply sitting back in chair. Again only had the chair for several days so not what I would expect.
If this was a cheap chair then would have given about 3 stars but based on costs and claims of quality can only give this chair one star.
The chair is better that cheaper models but my advise if looking for a solid quality chair is to pay out the extra for a known, quality alternative.

I've been really disappointed with every new chair purchased in the past few years and returned them swiftly as they simply didn't offer the size and comfort I needed (6ft 4ins & 22 stone). When I finally managed to snap the arm off of the frankenchair I had made from an assortment of gaming chairs acquired from an office clearance, the social media websites must have witnessed this and started offering me replacements! I'm not one for succumbing to adverts like this but decided to look into this brand.

The main difference is all metal parts, this makes a big difference to stability that you can feel especially when being tall and quite heavy. Shifting the chair on the wheels with one's bum as you do is solid and not accompanied by that dragging feeling that you're just waiting to turn into a snap and collapse! Ample seat space without being trapped between the arms is so refreshing!

One main gripe is the adjustable height piston supplied with the chair, it is woefully small with very little adjustment and no thought for the additional height that larger people tend to need. Couple that with my desk being slightly higher than your normal office as it doubles as a studio and I was staring at my keyboard side on! A quick ferret around ones fave online shopping website soon found an 8.6" gas lift piston that was a direct replacement. Once fitted the chair now has a superb range of height adjustment, more than I would ever need. After a few weeks there are also some creaking noises beginning to come from the rear when leaning back but I doubt I've ever had a chair that hasn't done this to be honest. If it gets any worse then I will be raising a call with Boulies for some service.

Overall I am really glad I made the decision to purchase this brand and Elite Max model, its clearly made for the job and is already making a big difference to my daily working comfort.

If you are looking for a comfortable office chair, look no further. Just buy it.

I recently moved and wanted an upgraded chair. Im using the chair primarily for office work when I work from home but also can be used perfectly as a video game chair. This is a very comfortable large chair that is well built. I am 6’2 245 lb man and it handles my stature and weight with ease. All the functions work well and it can be positioned in various ways for an individuals needs. Material is strong and seems highly durable with excellent construction.

This chair is definitely comfortable, great back support and firm seat cushion. After 2 weeks, I found it supports my neck and my back very well and even comfort my back pain.
The price is reasonable and quality is higher than my expectation.
